The technology
behind the light
Every Dreamlux® fabric begins in an unlit state, with optical fibers woven into the weft.
To transform into a luminous surface, it requires a specific treatment: a technical and artisanal process that determines the aesthetics, intensity, and language of the light.
Dreamlux techniques are the heart of our know-how: a heritage developed internally, perfected over the years, and applied in a tailored manner to every project.

Uniform light, starry sky effect
Allover is the most iconic and recognizable technique: the fiber is activated point by point, creating a diffused, soft, and uniform luminous density.
Features:
- elegant and discreet “starry sky” effect
- ideal for curtains, panels, boiseries, and ceilings
- highlights the light itself rather than a specific design
Perfect for immersive and minimal atmospheres in residential and hospitality settings.
Light that follows a design
With the Artlight technique, the optical fiber is selectively activated following shapes, patterns, or details chosen by the client or the artist.
Features:
- enhances silhouettes, lines, and graphic motifs
- allows for contrasts between illuminated and non-illuminated areas
- creates a sophisticated and contemporary aesthetic
Perfect for furniture, decorative panels, and artistic surfaces.

Illustrations and images that come to life
With Digital Pattern, an image is printed onto the fabric, and subsequently, the artist precisely activates the fiber, creating chiaroscuro and luminous depth.
Features:
- possibility to reproduce any subject
- strong visual impact
- ideal for customized projects, hospitality, retail, and catering
Perfect when image and light must merge into a single aesthetic.
Pictorial works enriched by light
This is the most artistic and refined technique.
An artist paints directly onto the fabric using water-based colors.
During the painting process, the brush touches and works the optical fiber, creating unique and unrepeatable luminous paths.
Features:
- each work is a unique piece, impossible to replicate
- depth and chiaroscuro created by the combination of painting and light
- emotional, textured, and three-dimensional aesthetic
This technique is the signature of the Pure Art line.

Overlapping languages for complex results
In the most advanced projects, Dreamlux combines multiple techniques on the same fabric:
- Allover + Artlight
- Digital Print + Artlight
- Painted with Light + DMX dynamics
- Luminous patterns + modular surfaces
This flexibility allows for the creation of works and installations with great scenic impact.
Light moves, breathes, and responds
Dynamic programming (DMX, wireless)
In addition to the activation technique, it is possible to integrate:
- dynamic effects
- luminous scenographies
- professional DMX control
- wireless systems
- synchronization with music or events
Light becomes an active part of the environment and the experience.

The choice of technique defines the character of the light
Each technique produces a different language: from the uniform elegance of Allover to the expressive power of Painted with Light. The choice depends on the aesthetics, the use, and the emotion one wishes to achieve.
